Bambo advises major global companies in connection with a wide range of litigation in courts around the country, as well as before arbitration panels. He is a generalist litigator and trial lawyer with substantial expertise in class actions, competitor disputes, and trade secrets litigation. Broadly, his work has encompassed matters involving claims for fraud, alleged violations of state deceptive trade practice acts, product liability and breach of warranty, breach of contract, violations of state and federal employment statutes, and securities fraud. Some of his notable recent clients include Core-Mark, eBay, and Starbucks, among many others.
Bambo focuses much of his practice on employee mobility and trade secrets related issues, including advising clients on non-compete agreements, developing programs for protecting trade secrets and managing risks, and litigating trade secret disputes. Bambo also has significant experience obtaining and defending against emergency remedies such as temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions to address trade secret misappropriation.
What advice would you offer to new attorneys interested in your field?
Take ownership of your projects, be proactive, and always ask for more. The learning curve in a law firm can be quite steep, and it is important for more junior attorneys to give their best effort. There are many ways that junior attorneys can make significant contributions to a project. Associates who recognize this early on tend to be more successful.
